Blaaaaaah! I am having the hardest time writing anything worth reading today! I made this amazing hash with smoked sausage and French fries and I can think of nothing to say about it. I wish I could let you all taste the amazing flavor of the caramelized onion with the hint of apple balsamic teamed up with the smokey beef sausage. It was a major success considering it was a thrown together meal. I like using French fries as straight up potatoes in casseroles as well as the usual side to burgers and chicken fingers. Ore-Ida is a gluten free friendly company so I buy them exclusively. In my pre-GF days, I opted for the cheaper store brands, but I have found that store brands rarely take the time or expense to certify themselves as gluten free. I buy the big five pound bags of fries and get two meals out of it; if I am lucky. Oh the joys of feeding teenage boys!
